Your hosts Belinda Gelston and Pete Varcoe offer you unique access and insight into the Waikato, in the heart of New Zealand's equine country. From horse trekking to ‘learn to ride’ experiences, to touring some of the most prestigious breeding studs in the country. Belinda’s passion and history in the equine world makes for a truly unique and captivating experience. Born in Northern Ireland, Belinda’s grandfather owned and trained race horses that won prestigious Irish races. Belinda’s Father owned a large indoor riding school which the Irish Olympic team used to train. “By the grand age of two I had three ponies,” says Belinda.
