Set in the holiday park on the 280 acre Mohaka River Farm, with the beautiful Mohaka river just 150 m walk away our campground and chalets give a wonderful view over the river and down the valley. There are horse treks available and a river to fish, swim or raft. Guests enjoy exploring our family owned and operated working farm on our network of trails and roads and can enjoy first hand glimpses into farm-life. Opportunities exist for hands on experiences in self-sufficiency through seasonal farm activities across a variety of interests.
The clean and well equipped accommodation, available year round, include chalets, self-contained cottages and powered / unpowered camp sites. The self-contained cottages are ideal for larger families and extended families coming together for celebrations. Campers and chalet guests make use of the updated and well equipped kitchen and BBQs and the camp fire areas are a great place for guests to spend evenings. Guests enjoy access over 200 acreas of the farm and readily access 2km of the Mohaka River. Please note, as we are a working farm we don’t allow pets and smoking/vaping are not permitted on the farm. Terms and Conditions
Non -Peak cancellations : 20th January to 20th December You can cancel your booking with 100% refund less a $15 administration fee if you do this more than 24 hours of earliest check-in time on the day of your arrival. If you cancel within the last 24 hours of earliest check-in time you will be charged the full cost of your booking. Peak Cancellations: 21st December – 19th January You can cancel your booking a week before your stay with 100% refund. If you cancel within 7 days of your stay you will be refunded 50% of your booking. If you cancel within the 24 hour arrival period you will be charged the full cost of your booking. COVID-19 Policy If the COVID alert level in NZ is changed before your arrival and you therefore can no longer travel to Mohaka River Farm, the above policies will apply. For Peak Cancellation times, if the level changes within a week of your arrival we will provide 100% refund so long as you let us know in writing 24 hours before your arrival time.
