Meet the Creepy, Crawly and the Sassy It is essential to book your visit for either the morning or the afternoon. Our tour starts at 10.00am till 11.30am, and our afternoon tour starts at 13.00pm till 14.30pm from Monday to Friday. Based in beautiful Marlborough, we specialize in breeding and housing some of New Zealand’s more uncommonly found and threatened native species. At this stage we hold Yellow Crowned Käkäriki, Giant Weta and seven species of geckos. We welcome visitors to Koru Native Wildlife Centre to meet and learn about our creepy, crawly and sassy native species. Check out the Koru Native Wildlife Centre’s specially built enclosures to learn fascinating facts about our native animals, and the efforts to restore their natural habitats. Your hosts, Ellen and Brian Plaisier, have more than 20 years of experience in restoring native habitat, and more recently in native animal husbandry. We are passionate about New Zealand’s incredible biodiversity and will provide a genuine, personal insight to the efforts being made to restore our stunning natural environment..

If a cancellation is made within 24 Hours of arrival day, Loss of 100% of booking. Bookit’s Amendments and Cancellations Cancellation policies are specific to each supplier and are detailed on the payment confirmation page prior to final booking confirmation. Bookit's non-refundable fee of NZD20.00 also applies to all cancellations regardless of the supplier’s cancellation policy. Where you are entitled to a refund the refund will be made to the same credit card that you used to confirm the booking. For amendments of bookings additional charges or a refund may apply depending on the nature of the booking amendment. If you make a booking using a discount code you will not be able to use that discount code on any subsequent booking amendment. Amendments will be made using the normal price of the product being amended.
