ONSITE RULES & REGULATIONS By entering our premises you accept the following terms and conditions. As our guest, you need to be aware that there may be an element of risk involved in some of our activities. We have taken all practical measures to adhere to health and safety regulations, however you must accept all risk of injury, accident or property loss. You must also abide by all Tekapo Springs rules and regulations, both expressed and implied, as well as all staff instructions to ensure your safety and the safety of others. If you don’t adhere to these rules, you may be asked to relinquish your ticket without refund. Please note that Tekapo Springs cannot accept any responsibility for lost tickets or wristbands. Supervision of children - All children aged under 14 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible caregiver aged 16 years or over.* - Children under 8 years of age must be ACTIVELY SUPERVISED** by a responsible caregiver aged 16 years or over. - Children under 5 years of age must be accompanied in the water by a responsible caregiver 16 years or over at all times (within arm’s reach). - Maximum adult to child ratios: – One adult to two under 5 year olds – One adult to four 5-7 year olds – One adult to one under 5 year old and three 5-7 year olds *We adhere to New Zealand government law with regard to children under 14 years of age in that they must be supervised at all times with their parent/guardian onsite with them. This is the parent/guardian’s responsibility, not Tekapo Springs’ responsibility, and in accordance with New Zealand law, leaving children under 14 unsupervised may result in a fine for the parent/guardian. **ACTIVELY SUPERVISED means watching the child at all times and be able to provide immediate assistance. The responsible caregiver must be at close distance where they can see and be seen, hear and be heard by their child. VALIDITY OF OUR TICKETS Our tickets are open dated with the exception of Day Spa, Tube Park & Stargazing which must be pre-booked either online or directly with us. Our tube park time sessions are non refundable, changeable or transferable so in effect use it or lose it. All other tickets are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and are non refundable unless otherwise stated. Promotional priced tickets are only valid for the dates stated at time of purchase. Expired promotional tickets that are less than 12 months from purchase date, can be used as a credit towards a full priced ticket. The difference needs to be paid directly to Tekapo Springs on arrival. If you have purchased a ticket via a third party website or travel supplier, you must deal directly with them as the original place of purchase. This includes any date changes and or any refund requests.
