No refund will be given for missed tours or tastings. In some cases, we can arrange pick-ups for group tours from your accommodation or nearby. For private tours, we can always arrange pick-ups. Our group tours are not suitable for children. If you are traveling with kids, please book a private tour. Children up to 12 years old will be charged at a reduced rate, and we can also provide child car seats at an additional cost. It is our company policy to have children under the age of 7 restrained in our vehicles for their safety and our peace of mind. It’s important to notify Waiheke Wine Tours of any extra items before pick-up, as we may not have sufficient luggage space available. We have one vehicle that has no luggage area, but backpacks are fine. Depending on the vehicle you are in, please ask the admin team. Smoking, vaping, or consuming alcoholic beverages are prohibited in any Waiheke Wine Tours vehicles. Waiheke Wine Tours is not responsible for the loss or damage to your items or luggage caused by theft or negligence. You acknowledge in the event of any environmental “Acts of God“ (earthquake, weather or any other naturally occurring emergency events), global emergencies (war, pandemics, etc) or operationally disruptive events (unforeseen traffic congestion, civil event, disruption, etc) arising, that, whilst employing its best efforts to deliver transport services to you during such events, Waiheke Wine Tours may not be able to provide the timely delivery of such services to you. We are happy to rebook your tour for another time. Should unforeseen events arise (or any situation beyond our control), Waiheke Wine Tours reserves the right to convert affected bookings into open-dated, transferrable tickets without refund. Any affected bookings may be transferred to family or friends and will be valid for 24 months. Please refrain from engaging in raunchy behaviour or bringing offensive hens/stag party accessories, as the vineyards will not allow entry, and your guests will be returned to the ferry. Waiheke Wine Tours will not be held responsible for the early termination of your event. Vineyards are legally not allowed to serve clients showing signs of intoxication. If the vineyard chooses not to serve you due to intoxication, no refund for the tour/tasting will be given. If we suspect that you have been drinking heavily before the tour, we reserve the right to refuse to proceed with the tour. No refund for the tour/tasting will be provided, and you will be returned to the ferry or your accommodation. The hirer is responsible for any damage incurred to the vehicle during the hire. Waiheke Wine Tours Limited will not be held responsible for any damage caused intentionally or otherwise to people or property. The organiser will be held liable to cover any and all additional costs incurred. Drop-off time means the vehicle must drop you off at your final destination by that time. This can be the Matiatia wharf or another location you and the tour creator agreed upon. Our tours do not include lunch unless otherwise agreed. We will not be responsible for any expenses owed to the vineyards for food, drinks, or activities booked on your behalf. Changes to your booking, cancellations, or no-shows are subject to the vineyards’ terms and conditions and may incur a fee, which will be passed on to you. A cleaning fee of up to $300 will apply for vomit or spills on the interior of the vehicles. We are an eco-friendly tourism business that no longer provides plastic water bottles. However, we offer beautiful stainless steel branded water bottles for sale at just $20, which you can refill during your tour with us. Help us keep the planet clean and healthy!
