This beach provides both first timers with a safe and invigorating environment to learn in as well as providing some world class waves for the more experienced surfers. We offer lessons for new surfers and coaching for the more advanced levels looking to up their skills in the water. What can we do for you? Let's put the basics into action! No experience is required. Get one of our surf lessons! Build on what you already know with a personal coaching session. Hire a board and wetsuit and have your own fun. Tauranga Bay is an idyllic surf beach setting, it's got a wonderful long sandy beach and great carparks on lovely soft grass! You'll find us on Beach Rd in front of the houses. To the north of the bay is a walking track leading to the Tauranga Bay seal colony, which is a very popular tourist attraction. There's a brilliant walk around the cliffs, and beyond the lighthouse, the track will lead you to numerous local accommodations, the park and the local pub, The Star.
