Station Lodge, a 1906 historical villa is located in the beautiful alpine town of Ohakune adjacent to the world renowned Tongariro National Park. A place for all seasons; the lodge is warm and inviting and its close proximity to spectacular walks including the Tongariro Alpine Crossing (Best Day Walk in New Zealand) ski fields, (Turoa 20 minutes and Whakapapa 40 minutes) and the mighty Whanganui River. The Station Lodge has been lovingly restored yet retains its unique and historical character. With the addition of modern facilities it is the perfect location for your next getaway. The Lodge has been designed to maximize the surrounding environment with stunning views of Mt Ruapehu and its surrounding gardens. Station Lodge has 11 rooms with different configuration that accommodates up to 36 people. Our communal facilities include a Guest lounge with cosy log fire, DVD collections and entertainment system, Huge self catering kitchen, T.V room, Private 8-seater spa-pool in a garden setting, Drying room, Broadband wireless internet, Central heating with radiators in all bedrooms and a wood burner in the main lounge, Laundry facilities are available so you can catch up on washing, BBQ facilities and outside dining area, Off-street parking.

Terms and Conditions

-Minimum two-night stay -LINEN is provided; guests will need to bring a towel for the shower and outdoor spa pool. -Smoking allowed outside only. -Only guests booked in to be on-premises and do not exceed the number permitted. -No loud noise is permitted between 11pm and 7am. Any noise complaints, noise control call-outs or fines will be the responsibility of the group. -We ask that beds that have been used during your stay are stripped on departure and dirty laundry at the end of the hallway. -Please make sure to do the dishes before you leave, return things to where they belong, and to leave the house in a clean, tidy condition. -Please sort recycling into it's allocated bins outside and put landfill waste into the bin provided. We appreciate you using the compost bins throughout your stay as well, to minimise landfill. EXCLUSIVE BOOKING OF STATION LODGE -For cancellations outside of 30 days before your arrival (5 pm) there a $20.00 (NZD) administration fee and your deposit refunded. -If you cancel within 30 days of your expected arrival, one night's accommodation deposit will be retained. -If you cancel within 48 hours or in the event of a no show the entire stay will be charged to the supplied credit card. -Once you have checked into your accommodation, you cannot amend or cancel your booking.
